The Roumanian government, through I. Rosenthal, counsellor of the Legation here, today denied emphatically the rumors reported to be current in the American Jewish papers that the Maniu government has reinstated the anti-Semitic Professor Cuza at the University of Jassy, from which institution he had been removed by the Bratianu government.
The Legation similarly declared that the rumor that Professor Jorga had reestablished his connections with Professor Cuza is entirely denied by the Bucharest papers. The Roumanian Legation in Washington had requested information from abroad in connection with this matter and received a telegraphic reply from the Roumanian government denying the fact.
