Jewish refugees in Roumania are now pinning their last hope in the League of Nations.
According to reports received here, the treatment of the refugees beggars description. They are being seized in the streets and placed under arrest and carted away without a chance to make any preparations to the border.
The fact that these expulsions should be taking place now in view of the promise made by the Roumanian Government to stay same until December has aroused great indignation.
Jews here hope that the League of Nations will step in and hold Roumania to her promise.
