“If the Soviet Government uses force to contest the right of Roumania to Bessarabia, Roumania will take steps to make its right respected,” declared Prime Minister Bratianu, at the celebration held yesterday in Kishineff, the capital of Bessarabia.
The celebration was occasioned by the sixth anniversary of the annexation of Bessarabia by Roumania. Representatives of the entire Bessarabian population were invited to it. Rabbi Zicelson was among the active participants.
