The advocate Morarescu, who is president of the Cuzist, anti-Semitic party in the province of Bukowina, was sentenced today to fifteen days imprisonment for perpetrating a swindle in which he appropriated funds belonging to one of his clients. His name was ordered stricken from the list of advocates permitted to practice.
Morarescu is notorious as responsible for the massacre of Jewish youths crossing the Dniester River some time ago. He is high in the ranks of the anti-Semitic organization led by Professor Cuza.
