Cables coming from the correspondent of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency in Bucharest to the London office of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency have been held up by the Roumanian censor for two days. Only after receiving urgent inquiries from London were some of the cables released. It is believed that some cables are still being detained.
In a recent interview with the Roumanian minister of the interior, the correspondent of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency was assured that there would be no interference with his cables.
