Roumanian Court Acquits 10 Students, Sentences 8 for Anti-jewish Riots

The military court of Clausenburg, which tried the last group of Roumanian students invoved in the anti-Jewish riots in the beginning of December, concluded its proceedings yesterday.

Ten of the accused were acquitted, one was sentenced to one month imprisonment, three to fifteen days and four to seven months imprisonment. The latter four were sentenced for failure to obey an order to appear in court.

The Roumanian Government appropriated an additional amount of 14,000,000 lei for the victims of the anti-Jewish riots in Oradeamare.
