A direct appeal to the Roumanian government to stop the wild anti-Semitic propaganda in the country was made by the Union of Roumanian Jews of Bucharest.

The Union asked the government to take steps against the “bloodthirsty anti-Semitic campaign”, citing proclamations issued by anti-Semitic organizations in which the Jewish people are termed “scum of humanity” and “wild beasts” and the expulsion of the Jews is demanded. The Union asks whether such propaganda will be allowed by the government under the constitution of the country.
