Disappointment in the official communique sent by the Roumanian government to the United Roumanian Jews of America for its vagueness and failure to reassure Jewish fears and a demand that the Roumanian government assure full and complete protection of Jewish life and property and take effective measures to prevent the recurrence of anti-Jewish outrages, are contained in the reply addressed to the Roumanian Legation in Washington by Leo Wolfson, president of the United Roumanian Jews of America.
