The Union of Roumanian Jews, of which Dr. William Filderman is president, has concluded a pact with the Liberal Party, thus officially joining the opposition to the Maniu government. By the terms of the agreement, which is the result of long drawn-out negotiations, the Union of Roumanian Jews will receive four places on the district tickets of the Liberal Party at the next elections. It is doubtful, however, whether all four can be elected.
