The question whether Jews in Roumania are to form a separate national political party which would urge Jewish voters to exercise their franchise in favor of Jewish candidates, members of the party, will be submitted to a plebiscite.
The plebiscite will be conducted by the Union of Roumanian Jews.
This statement was made by Horia Karp, note Roumanian journalist, and a leading member of the Union of Roumanian Jews in an interview with the newspaper “Politika.”
“I have no faith in the successful work of a Jewish national party in Roumania. The Union of Roumanian Jews will submit this question to a plebiscite of Roumanian Jews for their dicision. If the voters decide on the formation of a Jewish national party, we will submit to this decision,” Mr. Karp declared.
