The Roumanian authorities are endeavoring to suppress the publication of the facts concerning the anti-Jewish excesses in Transylvania as threatened by the Christian League of Roumanian students, reports in Bucharest newspapers state.
It is stated that the Government has promised the Christian League considerable concessions on the condition that it withholds publication of the memorandum which shows that a member of the Government had exercised influence on the initiators of the excesses in Transylvania.
