Roumanian Patriarch Condemns Disorders in Universities

Patriarch H. H. Miron, one of the three Regents of Roumania during the minority of King Mihai, declared today before a delegation of students that he condemns all disorders in Roumanian higher schools and universities.

The Roumanian paper, “Tzara,” reports that the Ministry of the Interior has taken steps to prevent any clashes between nationalities in Roumania which may occur on Eastern Sunday.

A dispatch to the “Adverul” states that a group of unknown young men in Galatz devastated a Jewish shop there and that the prosecuting attorney in Galatz is conducting an investigation.
