The British Royal Commission, which is scheduled to arrive here Nov. 11 to begin an investigation of the underlying causes of the Arab disorders, will open its deliberations the day after it arrives, it was officially announced today.
The first meeting of the six-man commission, which is headed by Viscount Peel, will be open to the public and the proceedings will be broadcast. Immediately thereafter, the commission will start on a week’s tour of the Holy Land, to visit the scenes where the principal disturbances occurred.
Headquarters of the commission are expected to be at the King David Hotel.
