Rubin Mass, founder and president of the Mass Publishing House has died here at the age of 85. Born in Vistyten. Lithuania on June 10, 1894, he ran a publishing house in Berlin from 1927-1933.
After he moved to Israel in 1933, he established his publishing house in Jerusalem. After his son, Daniel, died in the War of Independence, he became active in organizations commemorating the war dead and was chairman of the Council for Commemoration of Soldiers and the War Graves Commission.
