The appointment of a special commissar to speed the deportation of Jews from Rumania was announced today over the Bucharest radio. The announcement emphasized that all Jews will be deported from Rumania before the end of this year.
The Central Jewish Office in Bucharest, which deals with Jewish affairs, has been ordered to register all Jews throughout Rumania for the purpose of having them deported from the country. Jews in the smaller towns are now being transferred to the larger cities in order to facilitate their deportation, the broadcast stated.
