Over 3,000 former Rumanian Jewish families in this country who left relatives behind in Rumania today decided to appeal to the Rumanian authorities to permit their relatives to join them in Israel.
The appeal will be sent to the Premier of Rumania and to various United Nations organs. It is estimated that 85 percent of these 3,000 families left children behind, 10 percent left parents and five percent are wives who came to Israel without their husbands.
