In an effort to counteract the worldwide Jewish protests against the arrest, trial and imprisonment of Zionist leaders, the Bucharest radio–heard here–today carried an address in English by the chairman of the Jewish community council of Bucharest. He declared that Jews were “guaranteed complete religious and social freedom and that public provision has been made for their ritual and other requirements.”
Meanwhile, Ager Press, the official Rumanian news agency, today published another report on Jews who “deluded by Zionist propaganda left for Israel years ago” and have returned to Rumania.
