Jews who were unable to claim re-instatement in jobs from which they were ousted by the Antonescu Government by last January, which was the end of the period designated for such applications, will be permitted to file their claims up to January, 1946, if they produce evidence that they were prevented from doing so because they were still in camps, or in distant places to which they were deported by the Nazis. This was announced today by the Ministry of Labor in a broadcast over the Bucharest radio.
The Athens radio reports today that the Greek Zionist Federation submitted to Premier Petros Voulgaris the text of a resolution adopted by its first post-war conference, which welcomed the government statement waiving all rights to unclaimed Jewish property. Meanwhile, another group of Greek Jews Liberated from Oswiecim by the Red Army has arrived in Sofia, en route home, the Sofia radio announced.
