The Ministry of Justice has issued a decree requiring definite resolution by Oct. 1 of the status of Jews deprived of citizenship during the recent naturalization revision. The decree does not specify, however, how the problem will be resolved.
The fact that Jews have been deprived of citizenship did not count when mobilization orders were issued. The Jews who lost their citizenship were called up for service regardless.
