All “alien” Jews living in Rumania under residential permits which expire at the end of this year, will have to report to the police between October 10 and November 10, the Bucharest radio announced today.
Alexander Belev, the Commissar for Jewish Affairs in Bulgaria, has resigned his post, it is reported in the Hungarian newspaper Pester Lloyd reaching here today from Budapest. He will be replaced by a Bulgarian judge whose name is not given. The same paper reports that a book entitled “Are Jews Guilty” has been published in Bulgaria with the official support of the government and is being distributed among youth organizations.
