Special butcher shops will be established soon to sell kosher meat at official prices, it was announced here today by the Rumanian Ministry of Supply.
The stores will be placed under the supervision of the rabbinate, the announcement said, and all persons wishing to purchase kosher meat will be able to do so with their regular ration cards. Hitherto, kosher meat was available only on the free market.
