Rumanian Chief Rabbi Moses Rosen sent cables Tuesday to U.S. Sen. Abraham Ribicoff (D. Conn.) and Rep. Charles Vanik (D. Ohio) asking to be allowed to testify before their committees when they consider whether to continue U.S. most-favored-nation trade status for Rumania. Vanik is chairman of the House Ways and Means subcommittee on trade. Ribicoff is chairman of the Senate Finance subcommittee on international trade. Rosen said he is going to Washington Sunday and plans to hold a conference after his arrival.
