Revision of Jews citizenship’s and the economic position of the nation’s Jewish masses were discussed today in an interview between king’s Counsellor Constantine Argetoianu and Dr. William Filderman, president of the Union of Rumanian Jews. Dr. Filderman later submitted memorandums on both subjects to members of the Government.
A delegation of Bukovina and Transylvania Jews presented themselves to the authorities and described the plight of Jews who have been deprived of their citizenship under the revision decree. a memorandum on anti-Semitic propaganda in Rumanian school text books was submitted to the government by another delegation headed by Dr. filderman.
