All male Jews in Rumania between 18 and 50 years old have been rounded up by the Rumanian authorities and sent to forced labor camps where they are being used to construct public works, it is reported today by the Bucharest radio.
This is the second time within six months that Rumanian Jews have been seized by the authorities for forced labor. Several months ago it was reported that Rumanian Jews were being used for reconstructing the sections of the country which were damaged during the Soviet-Rumanian hostilities.
