Rumanian Minister to Tel Aviv Cioroiu last night left for Bucharest, together with his family, aboard the S.S. Transylvania.
Mr. Cioroiu’s recall surprised Foreign Ministry circles, particularly in view of the Israel decision, reached a fortnight ago, to replace the Israel Minister to Bucharest, Reuven Rubin, who resigned two months ago after one year’s service. Authoritative quarters here consider the Rumanian Minister’s recall unwarranted since Israel never indicated reluctance to replace Mr. Rubin.
