Rumanian police have arrested six persons who broke into a synagogue in Pancota, Transylvania, last week, and desecrated it. All six are Hungarians.

The Hungarian Popular Union, which is a left-wing political group of the Hungarian minority in Rumania, issued a statement strongly condemning the synagogue attack.
