Rumanian postal authorities have issued “special flight” envelopes in recognition of Israel’s national stamp exhibit which opened here last week. Rumania’s postal service is the first foreign one to take official note of the exhibit and the move is regarded here as a special gesture of friendship. The postmark reads, “Special Flight to the National Stamp Exhibition in Jerusalem” and carries the Lion of Judah, the emblem of the City of Jerusalem.
