The expropriation of Jewish property in Bessarabis and Bukovinn is ordered in a decree issued yesterday by Gen. Antonesen, Rumanian Premier, the Italian news agency Stefani reported today.
The decree was issued in connection with the proclaiming of these two sections as autonomous provinces under governors directly responsible to Gen. Antonescu. The decree provides that the anti-Jewish laws existing in Rumania are to be extended to Bessarabia and Bukovina.
