A number of Rumanian war criminals who were #####sed provisionally two years ago on charges of having participated in the Jassy #####cre in which 4,000 Jews lost their lives in I941 were re-arrested today.The Bucharest Court of Appeals to which the entire case was referred, after ####ple’s Court and a military court closed the case against 152 “small fry” by ####r freeing them or imposing minor sentences, today completed its study of the ####tment. The court decided to re-hear the charges and will begin the mass trial time this month. However, 61 of the original defendants have died or dis####red since their indictment and only 91 will go on trial.
