Satisfaction with the open-mindedness and fairness of Sir John Simpson, who is here for a survey of land settlement, immigration and development problems, was expressed by Maurice Hexter, member of the Jewish Agency Executive, and Dr. Arthur Ruppin, agricultural expert. Both Mr. Hexter and Dr. Ruppin have been in constant touch with Sir John, the former having lunched with him yesterday at the house of the High Commissioner.
Mr. Hexter, who is an American, is leaving for home at the end of this week. On his way he will stop off at London to attend the meeting of the political commission of the Jewish Agency which has been called for June 23.
