The amount of 175,000 roubles was allotted by the Soviet government for the purpose of carrying on the Jewish land settlement work.
The allotment was made for the work which is to begin in the spring to settle 2,000 families in Crimea in the districts of Cherson, Krivoy Rog, Zaporoje and Mariupol on land which remained from the allocations of last year and on part of the recently granted 19,000 desiatin.
