Russian Jewish leaders are slated to present to a New York Jewish museum a Torah confiscated by the Communist government during the early years of the Soviet Union. It is unclear where the Torah was used before it was confiscated. It will be donated Tuesday by leaders of the Russian Jewish Congress to the Museum of Jewish Heritage — A Living Memorial to the Holocaust.
