Russian Jews should respond to growing anti-Semitism in the country by making aliyah, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said during a visit Sunday to Moscow’s Choral Synagogue. Earlier in the day, he made a brief stopover in Ukraine, where he visited Babi Yar, the site of a Jewish massacre during the Holocaust. While in Moscow, the premier is slated to discuss Russian military aid to Iran during a meeting with his Russian counterpart, Yevgeny Primakov. After visiting Moscow, Netanyahu is scheduled to make a one-day visit to the former Soviet republic of Georgia.
