Russian oil tycoon Roman Abramovich was named Jewish philanthropist of the year by Russia’s leading Jewish organization. Abramovich was honored Sunday in a ceremony in Moscow. Abramovich, who lives most of the time abroad, is president of the Marina Roscha Jewish Community Center in Moscow, the central facility of the Chabad-led Federation of Jewish Communities of Russia.
