Russian prosecutors agreed to open a case against the Russian Orthodox Church for allegedly inciting hatred. In making the decision, the prosecutors in the Russian city of Sverdlovsk reversed their earlier decision not to pursue the case against a local diocese for allegedly publishing anti-Semitic materials, including “The Protocols of the Elders of Zion.”
