Seven members of a visiting Soviet badminton team got an example of Jewish hospitality here. Members of Herut and the Committee for the Release of Soviet Jewish Prisoners were picketing Aeroflot at London Airport Monday night when the members of the Soviet team arrived. There was no official delegation to meet them so the Jewish demonstrators drove them to their London hotel. During the demonstration at the Soviet airline office, pieces of matzoh were distributed to protest against Moscow’s latest crackdown on Jewish activists. It was one in a series of demonstrations in London and the provinces organized since the arrest last week of Anatoly Sharansky.
