The property left by the late Pinchas Rutenberg for use as an endowment fund “for educating the Jewish youth of Palestine in the spirit of unity” was estimated today to be valued at over $650,000. Moshe Novomeiski, Palestine Jewish industrialist, Shalom Hurwitz, a lawyer, and Shoshana Persitz, well-known Palestine educator, have been appointed as trustees of the Rutenberg Fund.
The Yedioth Achronoth, a Tel Aviv daily newspaper, reports that Rutenberg bequeathed to the Fund $150,000 in shares of the Palestine Electric Corporation, a villa in Haifa valued at $12,000 and several thousand Palestine pounds in cash.
