Rutgers University officials today ordered three fraternities to eliminate discriminatory clauses in their constitutions limiting membership to “white Caucasians.”

Cornelius B. Boocook, dean of men, declined to name the three fraternities, adding that Rutgers’ 22 other Greek societies are free from such restrictions. He said the three fraternities have been given until September 1, 1959 to comply.
