Alarmed over reports of imminent anti-Jewish legislation, the Supreme Council of Jewish Communities applied today for an audience with President Emil Hacha, who is returning to Prague in a few days. Meanwhile, Premier Augustin Volosin of Ruthenia received a Jewish delegation headed by Jewish Deputy Chaim Kugel which expressed the loyalty of the Jews to the State and offered the Jewish population’s full cooperation. In reply, the Premier promised the Jews equality of rights.
