Rabbi Samuel H. Goldenson, of Temple Emanu-El in New York, was reelected president of the Central Conference of American Rabbis at the closing session of the forty-fifth annual convention held here at the South Mountain Manor today.
Rabbi Felix A. Levy of Chicago was named vice-president. Other officers elected were Rabbi Samuel Gup of Columbus, Ohio, and Rabbi Isaac E. Marcuson of Macon, Georgia, secretaries; Rabbi Harry S. Margolis of St. Paul, Minn., treasurer.
The executive board includes the following rabbis: Meyer Levett of Jackson, Miss.; Philip Bernakin of Rochester, N. Y,; Stephen S. Wise of New York; Alvin S. Luche of New Rochelle, N. Y.; Aaron Weinstein of Jamaica, N. Y,; and Israel Hambug of Worcester, Mass.
Honorary presidents include Rabbi David Philipson of Cincinnati; Rabbi Stolz of Chicago, and Rabbi Samuel Schuiman of New York.
