S. Z. Shragai, member of the Jewish Agency executive, arrived here today aboard the Queen Mary. He will spend a month in the United States, visiting Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago, Omaha and Los Angeles, under the auspices of the American Zionist Council.
During his stay in this country, Mr. Shragia, who heads the Agency’s immigration department, will participate in meetings at the Jewish Agency headquarters in this city on Israel’s skilled manpower needs and on ways and means of attracting middle class immigrants from the U.S. to Israel.
