S.Y. Agnon, 1966 winner of the Nobel Prize for literature, arrived from Israel last night as guest of the American Friends of the Hebrew University which will honor him at a dinner tomorrow at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel. During his visit here, he will be awarded honorary degrees by Columbia University and Yeshiva University and will be given a reception by Mayor Lindsay at City Hall here.
