S. Z. Zuckerman, prominent Jewish journalist, an early associate of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, and more recently managing editor of the Day-Jewish Journal, died here yesterday, aged 72. Funeral services, attended by most of the leading Jewish journalists here, were held today.
Mr. Zuckerman was born in Lithuania, educated in a yeshiva, taken by his family to South Africa at an early age, and came to this country in 1905. He had been associated with the Yiddish press for 40 years.
