Consideration for the Jewish Sabbath is shown in the Factory Bill introduced in Parliament by the Government, the text of which was made public today. The bill says:

Where the occupier of a factory is a member of the Jewish religion or a member of a body observing the Jewish Sabbath any woman or young person who is Jewish may be employed there on Sunday, provided the factory be closed on Saturday and not open for business on Sunday.”
