The two-day conference of the committee for organizing the World Jewish Congress, which was scheduled to open here on February 23 will be postponed, it was announced here today.
No new date for the opening of the conference has been announced. The postponement is explained by the death of Dr. Angelo Sacerdoti, Chief Rabbi of Italy, who was one of the pillars of the world congress movement and who was expected to participate in the conference here.
