Three Jewish institutions will receive a total of $7,000 from the estate of Harry Sachs, who died March 23, 1933, according to an appraisal filed yesterday at the Brooklyn office of the State Transfer Tax Department. Mr. Sachs left a gross estate of $259,331, and a net of $205,333.
The beneficiary institutions are the Pride of Judea Orphans’ Home, the Brooklyn Hebrew Home and the Hospitals for the Aged and the Jewish Sanitarium for Incurables, all located in Brooklyn. The first will receive $3,000 and the others $2,000 each.
