— Philanthropist Sadie Friedman died last Tuesday in Boca Raton, Fla. at the age of 84. She and her late husband, Max Friedman, provided funds for the Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Yeshiva University in New York City and for the university’s Research Institute. She and her husband also provided substantial support for the college’s medical library.
