The safe arrival of eighty-four Jewish refugee children in Palestine from various parts of Europe and Asia was announced yesterday by Hadassah, the Women’s Zionist Organization of America. Some of the children were in transit for two years.
The arrival of this group brings to 8,250 the number of boys and girls who have been sent to Palestine in the past eight years. Almost 1,300 have come to Palestine since the beginning of the war.
