An announcement to be published in today’s Monitor announces a decision made by the Cabinet that Jewish widows of soldiers who fought in the World War must not be dismissed from official positions.
The Cabinet yesterday empowered the Minister of the Interior to retain Jewish employees, especially those who are serving in positions abroad and who cannot be replaced with Aryans.
RABBI WISE TO BROADCAST SERVICES
Jewish services will be broadcast over the nation-wide Columbia network by Rabbi Jonah B. Wise of the Central Synagogue on Sunday afternoon, October 1, at one o’clock over station WABC. The musical program will be offered by the choir of the Central Synagogue.
