The last of the 318 Jewish youths who spent many months roving on the Mediterranean Ocean without being permitted to land anywhere finally received immigration visas today to proceed legally to Palestine.
Most of the 318 youths were Polish citizens. They returned to Poland a few weeks ago through Rumania, after several unsuccessful attempts to land in Palestine illegally from the Greek tramp steamer Velos.
The Palestine Office in Poland, established by the Executive of the Jewish Agency, became interested in their fate after their return to Poland and succeeded in obtaining immigration certificates for them.
